Overview

The Bodyguard returns to the West End for a strictly limited season featuring British soul queen Beverley Knight in the lead of role of Rachel Marron with Ben Richards as her dashing bodyguard, Frank Farmer.

In contrast to the film, the show is set in the present day rather than the nineties with the plot revolving around the burgeoning relationship between Rachel Marron, a tempermental music superstar and Frank Farmer, a former Secret Service agent hired to protect her after she receives death threats from a stalker.

Based on Lawrence Kasdan's screenplay for the 1992 smash hit movie which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, the musical features some of Houston's greatest hits, including I Will Always Love You, One Moment in Time and I Wanna Dance with Somebody as well as a number of additional numbers made famous by the legendary singer, who died in Los Angeles in February 2012.

Access
The entrance to the theatre is street level with step-free access to the foyer. The theatre is fully accessible for wheelchairs and transfer seating is available in the stalls.

The theatre uses the Sennheiser Mobile Connect System. Customers are advised to bring their own headphones, but the theatre can provide them if required.

Guide dogs are welcome everywhere in the theatre and may be taken into the auditorium or looked after by theatre staff.
