Now a major fixture in the festive calendar, Birmingham Repertory's stage adaptation of Raymond Briggs' classic children's story, The Snowman, returns to the Peacock Theatre for a record-breaking twenty sixth successive Christmas.
When a small boy's snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve, the two friends set off on a magical night-time adventure. On their travels, they meet dancing penguins, reindeer, crowds of the Snowman's friends and Father Christmas.
Watch spellbound as the Snowman soars through the night sky, escaping the clutches of the evil Jack Frost to return home for Christmas morning.
Featuring Howard Blake's beautiful Walking in the Air performed by a live orchestra, this production is twinkling with festive spirit. A captivating mix of dance, stagecraft and music, it's the perfect Christmas treat for all the family.

Access
The Peacock is accessible for wheelchair users. There are seven spaces at the back of the Circle for wheelchair users and another two spaces at the back of the stalls.
The auditorium uses an infra red induction system. Headsets for audio described performances can be requested by speaking to a member of staff at the Ticket Office.
Guide dogs are allowed inside the auditorium and staff are available to dog sit if required.
