Overview
Inspired by a true story, Everybody's Talking About Jamie is the homegrown hit musical that has been wowing audiences and critics alike. Following a record-breaking three-year West End residency at the Apollo Theatre and a sold out UK and Ireland Tour, the award-winning show returns to London in February 2024 for a limited season at the Peacock Theatre.
Written by Tom MacRae and directed by Jonathan Butterell, the show features a host of feel good songs by lead singer of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells and stars Ivano Turco, Shobna Gulati, Rebecca McKinnis, Queen of the Jungle Giovanna Fletcher and EastEnders legend John Partridge who lead a twenty-four strong company and an eight-piece band.
Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. He knows he doesn't quite fit in; he wants to go to the school prom in a frock and become a teen drag queen, while the careers adviser at his comprehensive instead suggests he might have a future as a forklift truck driver. With support from his unconventional mum Margaret and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice to beat the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

Access
The Peacock is accessible for wheelchair users. There are seven spaces at the back of the Circle for wheelchair users and another two spaces at the back of the stalls.
The auditorium uses an infra red induction system. Headsets for audio described performances can be requested by speaking to a member of staff at the Ticket Office.
Guide dogs are allowed inside the auditorium and staff are available to dog sit if required.
