The Mirror and the Light Tickets
Overview
Playful Productions and the RSC present The Mirror and the Light, the highly anticipated final chapter of Hilary Mantel's bestselling Wolf Hall trilogy detailing the rise and fall of Thomas Cromwell, minister in the Tudor court of King Henry VIII.
Directed by Jeremy Herrin, Hilary Mantel and Ben Miles unite to adapt the exhilarating and fast-paced conclusion of this thrilling story for the London stage, with Ben Miles reprising his role as the legendary Thomas Cromwell.
England, May 19 1536. Anne Boleyn’s fate has been sealed by the French executioner and King Henry's third wife Jane Seymour must deliver him a healthy male heir. To the disgust of Henry’s nobles, commoner Thomas Cromwell continues his ruthless ascent from humble blacksmith's son to political fixer, hatchet man and architect of the religious reformation. But with England in turmoil, the lingering threat of invasion and the King’s legacy tottering, Cromwell is vulnerable and his enemies are poised to strike and bring about his downfall.
