In 1957 Elvis Presley exploded onto the cinema screen as Vince Everett, the mixed up angry young rebel with a unique talent. Finally, the musical based on the film is coming to the West End.

Jailhouse Rock tells the tale of a poor kid from the wrong side of the tracks who discovers his unique talent for music while serving hard time behind bars in the State penitentiary.

Vince emerges as the greatest rock 'n' roll star the world has ever seen. However, money and fame don't bring the happiness he expects and the pressure of stardom weighs heavily on his shoulders.

The rock 'n' roll musical has been created by the writer and director of the smash hit Buddy and features classic Elvis hits including Blue Suede Shoes, Suspicious Minds, Are You Lonesome Tonight?, A Fool Such as I, Burnin' Love, The Wonder of You, One Night, Tutti Frutti and more.

Access
The door to the left of the second exit door on Sherwood Street leads up a slight slope into a box which has space for 2 wheelchair users and their companions. The view of the left-hand side of the stage is slightly restricted. Unfortunately there is no adapted toilet.

Guide dogs are not permitted inside the auditorium. Staff are happy to look after 2 guide dogs per performance in the Royal Room.
