Overview
Michael Ball reprises his starring role as Edna Turnblad alongside comedian, actor and impressionist Les Dennis in Jack O’Brien and Jerry Mitchell's original award-winning production of hit musical Hairspray which returns to the West End this suumer for a strictly limited season at the London Coliseum.
Based on John Waters' 1988 film of the same name, the show is set in Baltimore in 1962 and follows the fortunes of pleasantly plump high school student Tracy Turnblad, who is transformed overnight from outsider to teen celebrity when she wins a spot on the local TV dance programme, the Corny Collins Dance Show.
Can Tracy vanquish the programme's reigning princess Amber Von Tussle, win the love of heartthrob Link Larkin, and spark social change campaigning for the show's integration - all without denting her hairdo?

Access
There are 10 spaces for wheelchair users and transfer seating is also available. Wheelchair users must bring a non-wheelchair using companion.
A radio-wave system for the hearing impaired is installed in the auditorium. Infrared headsets can be collected from the foyer desk. Sign interpreted performances may also be available.
Guide dogs are allowed into the auditorium, alternatively staff are happy to dog sit in the manager's office.
