Overview
Adrian Lester, comedian Jason Manford, Stephen Mangan and Meow Meow will star in three special concert performances of Guys and Dolls conducted by Stephen Mear at the Royal Albert Hall this October.
Based on Damon Runyon's short stories of the New York underworld, Guys and Dolls brings to life the Broadway of the 1940's, inhabited by smooth gamblers, heavy gangsters, nightclub performers and members of the Save a Soul Mission in search of sinners to cure.
Small time gambler Nathan Detroit needs money fast to secure a venue to hold his unlicensed floating craps game. Proposing a $1,000 wager he believes he cannot lose, he sets his pal Sky Masterson the task of persuading prim and proper neighbourhood missionary Sergeant Sarah Brown to accompany him to dinner in Havana, Cuba. But the straight-talking sister at the Save a Soul Mission opposes gambling and the stage is set for an evening of high spirited entertainment, set to a toe tapping beat.
Frank Loesser's thrilling score will be performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and comprises classic numbers including Sit Down, You're Rockin' The Boat, My Time of Day, Luck Be a Lady, If I Were a Bell and the wonderful title song Guys and Dolls.

Access
The Royal Albert Hall has many accessible entrances at ground level. Ramped access is located at Doors 1, 3, 8, 9 and 12. A free companion ticket is available for disabled people who require an assistant companion.
Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome. There is appropriate box seating where your dog can remain with you during the performance or you may leave your dog with a Steward until the end of the performance.
The auditorium, Elgar Room and North Circle Bar all have an infra-red system with a number of personal headsets for use with or without hearing aids.
