Overview

A thrilling revival of musical favourite Grease returns to the West End next June for a limited season directed by Nikolai Foster and choreographed by the legendary Arlene Phillips. Since its Broadway première in 1972, Grease has established itself as a firm favourite, thrilling millions with its irresistible mix of adolescent angst, vibrant physicality, 1950s pop culture and back-to-back sizzling tunes.

Set in 1959 at Rydell High School in Chicago, the rebellious students are returning to school after the summer holiday. After a whirlwind summer romance, wholesome good girl Sandy Olsson and greaser renegade Danny Zuko never expect to see each other again. But when they unexpectedly discover that they're now attending senior year at the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their love?

Featuring all the unforgettable hit songs from the classic 1978 film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John including You're The One That I Want, Grease is the Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted to You, Sandy and Greased Lightnin’.

Access
The entrance to the theatre is street level with step-free access to the foyer. The theatre is fully accessible for wheelchairs and transfer seating is available in the stalls.

The theatre uses the Sennheiser Mobile Connect System. Customers are advised to bring their own headphones, but the theatre can provide them if required.

Guide dogs are welcome everywhere in the theatre and may be taken into the auditorium or looked after by theatre staff.
