Overview

Following a hugely successful UK tour and several West End stints, Neal Foster’s brilliant stage adaptation of comedian David Walliams’ hugely popular children’s book Gangsta Granny is back in the capital for a limited two week season this summer.

Gangsta Granny is the tale of unsuspecting young lad Ben and his cabbage-crunching, criminal mastermind Granny. Every Friday night, Ben is sent to stay with his boring Granny while his parents go out for the evening. The TV hasn't worked since the 1980s, so time is grudgingly spent playing Scrabble and eating various cabbage delicacies.

But Ben soon discovers that his Granny isn’t quite what she seems and Fridays become much more exciting than he could ever have dreamed!

Access
Wheelchair accessible entrance is through a side exit on Oxenden Street. Wheelchair spaces and transfer seating available. Wheelchair users must be accompanied by a non-disabled companion. There are no adapted toilet facilities.

For the hearing impaired, an infrared system with 12 headsets is available from the box office. Some form of identification (driving license/credit card) will be needed as a deposit.

Guide dogs are not allowed into the auditorium but staff are able to look after 2 dogs per performance in the theatre’s office.
