Overview

Josie Rourke’s award-winning production of Larry Gelbart's City of Angels transfers to the West End with Vanessa Williams and Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud making their West End debut alongside Hadley Fraser, Rosalie Craig, Theo James, Jonathan Slinger and Rebecca Trehearn.

When author turned screenwriter Stine and tough Los Angeles private eye Stone come together in Hollywood, two contrasting worlds collide. Stine is attempting to adapt his successful detective novel City of Angels into a screenplay, but it doesn’t take long for him to realise that people in Tinseltown just don’t stick to the script...

Stone, on the other hand, has a missing woman to locate and a case to solve. What will happen when reality entwines with fiction?

With choreography by Olivier Award-winning Stephen Mear and an infectious swinging score by Cy Coleman and David Zippel, this ingeniously witty revival is a musical homage to film noir and the glamorous world of Hollywood's golden age.

Access
Wheelchair access to the theatre is through a gate to the left of the main entrance. Transfer seating is available to any Dress Circle aisle seat. Each wheelchair user must be accompanied by a helper.

A Sennheiser infra-red system with headsets is available for those with hearing difficulties.

Guide dogs are welcomed at the theatre and can be looked after in the Managers' office during the performance.
