Breakfast at Tiffany's Tickets
Overview
As part of his inaugural season as Artistic Director of the Curve Theatre, Nikolai Foster directs Richard Greenberg’s sparkling new stage adaptation of Truman Capote's critically acclaimed novella, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Starring British singer-songwriter Pixie Lott, the production will transfer to the West End for a limited 12 week season following a tour of the UK and Ireland.
Set in New York City in 1943, the story follows William ‘Fred’ Parsons, a struggling young writer from Louisiana, as he meets the quirky Miss Holly Golightly, a charming, vivacious and utterly elusive good-time girl. Maintaining a childlike innocence yet wearing sophisticated designer clothes and accessories from Givenchy, Holly spends her time on expensive dates and at high class parties. Everyone falls in love with exquisite extrovert Holly, including William - but he is poor, and Holly needs rich. Will she marry Rusty, the playboy millionaire or José, the future president of Brazil? As war rages in Europe, Holly begins to fall in love with William only for her past to finally catch up with her.....
Loosely based on the classic 1961 film starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard, Breakfast at Tiffany's will feature memorable songs from the era together with original music by Grant Odling.
