Overview
Kelsey Grammer makes his West End debut this November in the London premiere of Nigel Harman's new production of John August and Andrew Lippa’s Big Fish The Musical. Adapted from the much-loved book by Daniel Wallace and the classic 2003 Tim Burton movie, Big Fish The Musical will land at The Other Palace for a strictly limited nine week Christmas season.
What is it to really know your own father? Meet ebullient travelling salesman Edward Bloom, an ordinary man, and an extraordinary father. He has always told his son Will outlandish tall tales filled with beauty, love and imagination but when his adult son confronts him about what is truth and what is make believe, they go on an exhilirating and life-affirming journey together that will change them forever.
Blending fairytale, romance and adventure with serious adult themes including parenthood and illness, Big Fish is a moving exploration of what it means to be human, celebrating the true meaning of life and reminding us that the love for our family and friends will live on within them, long after we have gone.

Access
The Other Palace is fully accessible, with wheelchair access available to auditoriums and the bar. Wheelchair seats and step-free access is back row only in the Theatre.
There is a Sennheiser infrared hearing system in operation in the theatre with two types of hearing devices available to customers: headphones that amplify the sound or a necklace loop that can work in conjunction with a hearing aid.
