Overview
Stephen Brackett's hilarious production of smash hit Broadway musical Be More Chill opens at the Shaftesbury Theatre for a strictly limited ten week season following its UK premiere at The Other Palace last February. Produced by Bill Kenwright with Jerry Goehring, Lisa Dozier and Paul Taylor-Mills, the musical will feature the original London cast reprising their roles.
Based on Ned Vizzini's groundbreaking 2004 sci-fi novel of the same name, Be More Chill is the atypical love story of a guy, a girl....and the supercomputer inside the guy’s head guiding him every step of the way and telling him what to say and do. High school junior Jeremy Heere is a social outcast desperately trying to fit in. His long-time crush Christine Canigula is longing to be noticed. And the SQUIP supercomputer implanted in Jeremy's brain just wants to take over the world.
Featuring an original Tony Award-nominated score by Joe Iconis bursting with catchy tunes including More than Survive, Upgrade, The Pants Song and the showstopping Michael in the Bathroom, Be More Chill is an electrifying cult sensation about the competing voices in all of our heads.
The musical features mature themes and bad language and is recommended for ages 12+.

There are spaces for 4 wheelchairs in Boxes A and B which are down 3 steps off a corridor to the left of the box office. You will need help negotiating the steps. Transfer seating is also available in the Royal Circle, the entrance to which is level from the foyer.
An infra-red system with 20 headsets and 15 neckloops is available for the hearing impaired. Headsets and neckloops must be collected from the foyer sweet kiosk.
Guide dogs are allowed inside the auditorium or alternatively theatre staff will look after up to 6 dogs per performance.
