An Inspector Calls Tickets
Overview
Stephen Daldry's acclaimed interpretation of J. B. Priestley's classic thriller, An Inspector Calls, returns to the West End this November for a strictly limited season. Winner of 19 major awards, it opened at the National Theatre in 1992 and transferred to the West End for two years before embarking on an extensive international tour. This production is the longest running revival of a play in history, seen by over 3 million theatregoers worldwide.
Set in Brumley, a fictional industrial city in the midlands, the story begins with the mysterious Inspector Goole arriving unexpectedly at the prosperous Birling family home. Their peaceful dinner party is shattered by his investigations into their involvement in the death of a young woman whom each of them in turn has exploited.
Hailed as the theatrical event of our generation, this magnificent production has thrilled audiences across the world with its epic and wildly imaginative staging, raw emotion, evocative score, lashing rain and chilling suspense.
