Overview
Tackling the highly charged topic of sexual consent, Anna Ziegler's gripping and thought-provoking play Actually will run at the Trafalgar Studios for a strictly limited season this August.
Finding their way as freshmen at Princeton University, Amber Cohen and Tom Anthony meet at a party and hit it off. After spending the night together, they soon find themselves in murky territory with ramifications that could affect the rest of their lives. What actually happened between them that night? They agree they were both drunk, they agree they were both attracted to each other, but the issue of consent is foggy, and if unspoken, can it be called consent?
An insightful and timely drama, Actually is a portrait of university culture, exploring the consent debate, the complex intersection of race and gender politics and our crippling desire to fit in.

Access
Trafalgar Studios 1 & 2 are accessible for wheelchair users and transfer seating is available. Please note, the theatre is only able to accommodate small wheelchairs - up to 30” or 77cm width (no mobility scooters) due to size and weight restrictions on the lifts.
The theatre provides infrared hearing loops for patrons who are hard of hearing or with hearing aids. Devices are available from the Box Office, a £10 deposit is required.
Guide dogs are permitted in the auditorium or can be looked after by staff during the show.
